13th December. 10am Official Start of the Hackathon.

16th December. 12pm Submission Dateline of all projects. Presentations and Judging until 6pm

 

Rules

Participants are expected to form teams up to 4 per group or work solo should they prefer to do so. Feel free to use our discord channel that we set up for you to communicate with other participants and recruit them into your projects. 

Please make sure that your profile bio has the following details: Real Name, Hall, Year and Major. This is so that we are able to identify you and pass you your prizes if you win.

Participants are only allowed to join only one project. Participants who join multiple projects risk disqualification.

Warning: Participants may be disqualified if they do not follow the rules.

Judging Criteria

  • Relevance
    How well does the hack align with the chosen theme and problem statement
  • Innovation
    Uniqueness and creativeness of the hack (Demonstrate these qualities: inspiring, novel, persuasive, fresh motivating, engaging, etc.)
  • Viability
    How much prospective social/commercial value does the hack possess? How feasible would it be to implement it?
  • Usability
    How user friendly is the interface? How difficult was it to utilise the advertised features?
  • Technical Implementation
    How effective is the technical approach and implementation of the product or solution
  • Completeness
    How polished and resolved the hack is - integration of aesthetics/graphics and functions
